Nerves would be better than nausea. Nausea is over rated. However, Buffy won't judge him too harshly if he ends up nauseous (because, really, it's a lot of spinning). If it helps, her foot in mouth earlier had been due to nerves because this is new to her, this normal sort of date uninterrupted by vampires or other oogly booglies.
"We'll have to lean on each other," she giggles, head thrown back as she lets go of the wheel and just lets it spin. Without the wheel to anchor her, centrifugal force shoves her around toward Raleigh. She squeals and grabs the wheel again just before she slams into him.
